shaving your bikini area
Ok so when i was a very uninformed 11 year old, I shaved my pubic are. That shit itched like crazy. Like oh my god, I'm going to die itch. So 4 years later I've learned a lot and yes, I do still shave. Why? I'm not sexually active, I do it because I like the way it feel/looks. I don't like the hair poking out of my underwear/bikini. Shaving doesn't make you a slut. Now decide why you want to shave. It should be solely based upon your decision. So how do you do it? Here's the best method I've found.
And thats about it, this method works the best for me but try it out cause it may work for you. Remember that the hair will probably be back by morning so every 1-2 weeks you need to shave, maybe even less than that. Now that my body is used to it, I can shave almost every day but thats cause my body isn't that easily irritated.
If you're looking to have a neat pubic area but without the hassle of shaving consider trimming your pubic hair instead of shaving it. Simply clip it with some scissors once a month. If you want to have a hairless pubic area the only other option is waxing.
- Trim, trim, trim. Take a pair of scissors and (very carefully) trim your pubic hair. As short as you can get it without hurting yourself.
- Now draw yourself a bath and soak for 5-10 minutes. Once you've been doing this for awhile then you can move on to the shower but I recommend starting off with baths for the first few times.
- Exfoliate! Either use a scrub or a loofah and gently exfoliate the dead skin.
- Use a gel to foam shaving cream, I'm pretty sure vagisil has one but I prefer to use Gillette.
- When picking a razor, I recommend a 4-5 bladed razor. I like venus Gillette. Remember to use a new razor every time you shave your pubic area.
- Shave! With gentle pressure, shave in the direction the hair is growing. If you notice that this doesn't remove all your hair and you want to go against the hair growth you can, but this can itch more, cause ingrown hair and cut you easier so be warned.
- Now pat dry.
- Apply a very thin layer of neosporin and let it absorb.
- Apply a good quality lotion without fragrance, dyes, color or anything else that can be irritating and let it absorb.
- Then put on some baby powder, talc or some other type of powder you have made for sensitive, irritated skin.
- Put on some boxers or loose fitting panties and your good to go. If you still itch after a day or two, put on some more powder or try a itch cream like the one by vagisil.
